Hello Again Y'all;
Everyone is interested in seeing the Homemade Christmas ornaments so I made a slide show on Flickr that you can get to from my blog. Another thing is everyone has been asking for the recipe to make salt dough so I am gonna post it on here. To make salt dough you need...
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup salt
1cup cold water
Mix your salt and flour together well and gradually add the water until the dough gets to a sugar cookie consistency. Take your holiday cookie cutters and cut out shapes. Bake on 250 degrees until the dough is dry. If the edges start browning cover with tin foil to prevent further browning. Decorate with glitter paint or acrylic paint and stickers or whatever you feel like doing. For long lasting ornaments finish with polyurethane spray.
So there;s the recipe you all I hope your family has as much fun as mine did. We had a dusting of snow on Saturday. The kids thought it was cool!!! Now onto the questions for class.
I have chosen to answer the one about my writing style.
I am not the world's best writer; as a matter of fact I just down right hate writing. I am one of those people that wait till the last week and do all my research and then put my paper together. I do this because I tend to retain more from the reading if I do my paper right then instead of reading and researching over a period of weeks. I find that I work better under pressure if I just wait until the deadline. I know this is not a good way to be and this class is teaching us on how to do it week by week but for some reason I just can not grasp the concept of doing this. It could be due to the constant habit of procrastinating on my part. Procrastination is a hard habit to break especially if your used to doing it one way or the other.
I wish everyone a great week and lots of luck on their research and paper. but on that note I need to get busy working on mine. Until next week chickadee's!!!!!
